| The
voids in the soul that are the result of soul loss can actually
fill up with energy that is not its own. This can manifest
into all kinds of diseases. These can be physical, mental,
or emotional problems. In shamanic definition, the soul is
perfect or divine and life should be a reflection of this.
An extraction is done to remove any intruding energy. My personal
belief is that anger; fear, fragmentation, anxiety, hatred,
and chronic levels of unhappiness are the result of intruding
negative energy. Just look at what we are exposed to every
day and the major problems of our society! Extracting this
negative energy and restoring the soul unto itself promotes
feelings of wholeness and happiness, thus healing ourselves
and healing our world.
